ASK Foundation is coordinating with Mr. Rabi Lamichhane, one of the most popular TV Journalists of Nepal, to build a community hospital at Raskot, Kalikot, Nepal. Karnali province is the most impoverished region of the country, & Kalikot is the most impoverished district within Karnali with the lowest life expectancy (45 – 55 years) compared to other parts of Nepal. There are around 100,000 people living in Raskot and neighboring villages, & these villagers lack even the basic access to healthcare services. The nearest government hospital is 5-6 hours journey on a vehicle on a dirt road
Realizing the dire need of the local community, ASK Foundation has joined hands with Rabi Lamichhane & his team to build a 15 bedded, Smart digital hospital with standard equipment’s & remote tele-medicine facility.
We humbly request you to donate for this good cause. Even if you can’t make a large amount, know that every bit counts. Each dollar counts, pregnant patients in Raskot area are still deprived of Oxytocin injection, which only costs $20 cents. It’s more about coming together as a community united behind a common cause. We hope that you’ll consider donating towards this great step forward that we’re making together.
ASK Foundation is registered 501 C approved non-profit organization in USA and all your donation will be tax exempted.
